Amy began her career as a board-certified physician assistant in 1997. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, receiving a bachelor's degree with distinction in psychology. She then attended the Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, receiving a Master's degree in Medical Science with honors. Her first position as a PA was in urgent care, living in the U.S. territory of Guam, while her husband served as a dentist in the US Navy aboard the USS Frank Cable. When his tour was completed, they moved back to Colorado, where she then worked in family practice in the town of Lyons. After moving to Glenwood Springs in 2006, she focused her energy and care on raising their 3 children. She completed an intensive return to practice program, and is now thrilled to be caring for patients again in allergy and immunology. She is passionate about connecting with her patients, working together to achieve the best plan for their health and quality of life. Amy was raised in Colorado and loves to continually explore all it has to offer. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, skinning, hiking, backpacking, hut trips, biking, and foreign travels with her family and friends.
