Should I Be Worried About Airborne Food Allergens?
While most food allergy reactions are from ingesting food, breathing in particles of food protein in the air can also cause allergic symptoms.
October is here! That means Halloween is just around the corner! We wish everyone a safe and Happy Halloween, especially kids in our communities with food allergies. This year will mark AAIR's 6th year of supporting the Teal Pumpkin Project (TEAL PUMPKIN LINK) an awareness event to make Halloween safer and more inclusive for all trick or treaters. Please help support this event and leave a teal pumpkin on your door step as a sign that you have a food allergy friendly house to trick or treat at and consider having a separate bowl for trinkets and toys rather than treats!
