Robert McDermott, M.D.

In 2008, Dr. McDermott and his family moved to Glenwood Springs to start an allergy practice to serve the needs of the local community. He opened the doors to Allergy, Asthma and Immunology of the Rockies, P.C. in June. Dr. McDermott is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. McDermott received his Bachelor's Degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado in Denver where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and National Jewish Medical and Research Center.

Dr. McDermott is a Colorado native who is honored to serve the Roaring Fork and Eagle Valley communities. He believes in treating each individual and his or her family by encompassing all aspects of life that may be contributing to their illnesses with the most up to date information and treatment strategies.
